The Vernon Japanese Cultural Centre (more commonly referred to as "The Japanese Hall") is built on the site of the First Japanese Farmers' Hall, which was built in 1934. 

The Hall is currently managed by the V.J.C.S (www.vjcs.org) and primarily serves as a venue for events promoting Japanese culture. 

When the Hall is not in use by the VJCS, the facilities are available to the public, community organizations or other groups for:

• Banquets
• Weddings or wedding receptions,
• Activities of educational, recreational or cultural value
• Other individual or group rentals

Prospective renters can tour the facility beforehand to determine if the Hall will meet the needs for their event.
